Stop Hunger Now, an international relief organization that coordinates the distribution of food and other life-saving aid around the world successfully held a meal packaging event at Robinsons Place Lipa last Saturday, August 10.
This meal packaging event’s objective is to pack 30,000 meals which will be stored and used in case a crisis situation occurs here in Batangas, especially in the Archdiocese of Lipa.
The event was done with the help of LASAC, Inc. (Lipa Archdiocesan Social Action Commission) and U.S. Peace Corps. Local community organizations around Batangas took part in the said event including Couples for Christ, Youth for Christ, Singles for Christ, St. Francis Minor Seminary, La Consolacion College of Tanuan, Batelec II, Robinsons Place Lipa, Ibaan Teachers Rep, and Mabini Academy Alumni Class of 1983.
Job well done Batanguenos! 30,000 meals were packed and will feed our people with in case an untoward situation happens in the province.
